A short list of a few of my favorite things: weddings, love stories, photography. When those three things combine?! I’m in heaven. Grab some tissues, for this love story, babe. And the best part?! Jazz (Jasmine) and Dallen’s Romantic Portland, Oregon Chapel Wedding will forever bring tears to my eyes when I look back on it.

The first time Jazz connected with me, she told me the love story of her and Dallen. The way she described it was as if time stood still as they locked eyes. Believe it or not, they had crossed paths many times prior to first meeting. But it wasn’t until that fateful day when they had that captivating eye contact that changed their lives forever. From that day forward, they created a beautiful relationship and a beautiful baby boy. 

Jazz and Dallen’s wedding took place at this old-school, witchy-type chapel which was such a vibe. When I arrived to their venue, everyone was getting ready so it was time for me to take some detail shots. Given the 1970s-esque carpet, I took the little box of details out to a parking lot – and I couldn’t be happier with how they turned out. Fun fact: I love flat lay photography. Details (and flat lays) tell the story of the whole wedding day. 

Once Jazz and Dallen were ready to go, we headed out to the gazebo for their first look. They had decided to say some private vows during their first look, which was so special to witness. I just know that that memory will live with them for the rest of their lives. After their chapel ceremony, all the guests headed across the street to the reception space as we wrapped up the family and couple’s photos. The reception was so much fun – I am a sucker for a hyped wedding party and Jazz and Dallen’s was nothing short of this. 

Capturing love stories that have come full circle will always get me feeling some type of way. From the second Jazz and Dallen locked eyes, to having their precious son, and to now continuing to build their love story. I wish I could live Jazz and Dallen’s Romantic Portland, Oregon Chapel Wedding over and over again.
