If you’ve never considered getting ready for your intimate wedding, elopement, or microwedding at an Airbnb… this is your sign. Allison and Heath’s intimate Visalia, California modern wedding was right up my alley. Not only was the Airbnb perfect for the getting ready photos with its open concept, but I got to work alongside one of my favorite videographers – Kowan Miller. And their wedding venue?! *chef’s kiss* I loved the modern vibes of the Bello Vita Venue.

Allison and Heath’s intimate wedding was a long time coming. The amount of love and emotion surrounding the couple was so evident in every way, even down to the details. The details were full of family heirlooms honoring Allison’s mother who had passed, as well as the name of her daughter on a necklace. Allison’s sweet daughter was even able to get ready with here. How special is that?! But wait, there’s more. If you read my last blog (Bakersfield, CA Intimate Backyard Wedding), you’ll know that a ladybug had landed on the bride during her first look. I don’t want to brag or anything, but I think ladybugs have a thing for me and follow me wherever I go because: while Allison was getting ready, a ladybug landed on her in the Airbnb. Kismet, I tell you. Kismet.

After getting ready, Allison had an emotional first look with her dad. When people talk about a “tear jerker”… this was exactly that. The anticipation leading up to Allison and Heath’s big day just made all the emotions seem that much bigger. It was such a joy to capture. After the sweetest ceremony, the wedding party was ready to get the party started with some Fireball! Dubbing themselves the Wolf Gang (which, I definitely wanted to be a part of 😂), they were full of so much support and celebration. It was so much fun to be so HYPED with everyone. The celebration didn’t stop there; it went until the very last minute and wrapped up with a sparkler exit (my favorite).
