When I dream about the most picture-perfect intimate wedding, this Italian inspired coastal elopement on Catalina Island is exactly what floats around my head. From the brilliant blue skies reflecting off the ocean, to the dramatic cliffs plunging below, it was pure magic. Adventuring around Shark Harbor with Brandon and Mimi felt effortless, only adding to the ethereal vibes.

Brandon and Mimi’s intimate wedding day began with some dreamy bridal portraits down on the shore. Don’t get me wrong, I love a wedding day that includes traditional elements. But witnessing Brandon and Mimi just strolling along the beach felt like time stood still. The chemistry between these lovers was infectious and seriously made my job a breeze. 

And as if I couldn’t love Brandon and Mimi more, their elopement apparel was everything. Brandon’s black slacks paired with his breezy white button-up and brown loafers added a beautiful element of sophistication. Mimi’s off-the-shoulder gown with bell sleeves was the perfect combination of flowy and chic. But what really completed the look was her statement earrings. I could seriously go on and on about just how perfect Brandon and Mimi’s look was. 

After soaking up some quiet time on the beach, we hiked up the rocky cliffside to reach the most magnificent view of Catalina Whale’s Tail. Between the sailboats below in the harbor to the rolls hills of green, this moment will forever live with me. Once we had taken in the incredible views, we went back down to the shore for private vows and an intimate beachfront picnic. Brandon and Mimi exchanged vows as the waves crashed to shore, the sun beginning its descent beyond the horizon. Their Italian inspired coastal elopement on Catalina Island wrapped up with champagne, fresh oysters, and juicy strawberries.
