I could say something cheesy about how I pull inspiration from the ocean, the trees, photos books, music & old films. (Which is all true, I will say)..., HOWEVER, I pull the most inspiration from you. From your story, from your vision, your energy and all that you've been through.
When I'm with my clients, my energy bounces off of theirs. My job is to hold enough space for my clients to feel comfortable enough to let their hair down, drop their guard and show the side of their story that is the most raw, candid & genuine to who they are.
At the end of the day you are my inspiration. Each story, each client, & each chapter is different. With that, every story ignites a new inspiration within me.

WHAT INSPIRES ME
Okay okay so a little bit more about me personally.
My mornings look like waking up to my nine year old German Shepherd ready for breakfast. I stumble to the kitchen and make myself a home made latte (I have quite literally no idea what I'm doing but I try).
I open up my Colleen Hoover book, but I get sucked into random TikTok videos sometimes. My screen time tends to be out of control but I'm trying, okay lol.
I feel the most alive when I'm screaming Zach Bryan songs on a highway coming home from an incredible shoot.
I love Mondays; wild right?! I love them 'cause they are my reset days. The air feels crisp, it's like turning a book to a brand new clean page. The house gets cleaned, the meals get prepped, & I set intentions & goals of what I want for myself this week.
Photography damn near changed my life. Before I had this, I was a ball of anxiety. Sometimes, I still can be, but capturing love stories... capturing art is my safe space, escape & quite literal passion job.
That's a little sneak peek into my life and a few of my favorite things. No matter who and where we are, we're all souls wandering this beautiful earth, with a different story to share. not all are one and the same. And that's why I LOVE documenting love stories (and hopefully yours too! )

MY FAVOURITE THINGS
When you look back at your photos from your wedding day (or whatever chapter you might be in with your partner), I want you to be able to feel something. I want you to remember what it felt like to fall in love all over again. Evoking that emotion from you two is my top priority.
The way I do this is by getting to know who you both are down to your core. What made you fall in love? What are your favorite things about each other? What are you least favorite ;) ? How can we use our time together best to document you both as authentically as possible? That's my goal.
I want to get to know all the nitty gritty., I want to create a relationship with you so that I can evoke that radical, emotional, notebook kind of love.
Let's talk about authenticity. I am the kind of person who values candid beauty over staged smiles. I embrace the flaws rather than try to hide them. I think flaws, messes, tears, and belly laughs are absolutely beautiful. If you are looking for someone who will photoshop out certain things that you might not like about your body....that's not me. You. Are. Beautiful. There isn't one thing I want to hide about you and I will make that very known through out our time together. **This does not mean that I want you uncomfortable during our time together in anyway. I will consistently check-in to make sure you feel safe and nurtured the entire time. Authenticity matters to me, who you are naturally matters to me.. that's where the art is made.

my philosophy
You may hear me say the words "documentation" a lot. Here's what that means: it means I treasure the in-between. I find beauty and art in the touching of hands, the tears during a mom's speech, the grandparent's reaction as you walk down the aisle.
I want to document rather than pose. I want to go about your day as a storyteller rather than a "Pinterest perfect" feed. Of course. I will guide you throughout the day where it is necessary, but I value being a third-wheel "fly on the wall" more than anything.
