Cody and Taylor’s Sequoia National Forest pregnancy announcement photoshoot was an absolute vision. I’ve known this beautiful couple for a little over a year, and in that year, I’ve gotten to witness their kind souls thrive together. So when Cody reached out to schedule their pregnancy announcement photos, I was stoked. 

Sequoia National Forest is one of my favorite places in the world. I love being immersed in the lush greenery, moss covered trees, and the sounds of nature. There is something so beautiful about capturing a couple that radiates love in such a stunning location. Cody and Taylor had chosen 3 different outfits for their announcement photos. When we met up for their photos, they didn’t know the gender of the baby! They had a pink outfit, one with hints of blue, and a neutral black outfit. 

Pregnancy Announcement Photos

I had set up a white blanket for a backdrop, and their outfits couldn’t have looked more perfect with it. We took some sweet photos with an engraved wooden sign that said “A New Adventure Begins…” with their delivery month. After snapping a ton of photos with their ultrasound photos and sign, we headed to a different location within the forest. Their final outfits were black – and y’all… I was obsessed.

I brought a wicker chair to use and it was such a vibe with the stark contrast of their black outfits. Cody and Taylor also had a second sign engraved with “We Can’t Wait to Meet You”. The natural wood fit in perfectly amongst the towering pines. One of my favorite parts of their entire Sequoia National Forest pregnancy announcement session was watching Cody drop to his knees with tears in his eyes; he was so incredibly full of joy. 

Maternity sessions are such a special experience. Watching a couple become parents before your very eyes is an indescribable feeling.
